First-time applications - Application Process TQS Regulation 7.02 states that an applicant is fully and solely responsible for ensuring that all the official documents required for an evaluation of the applicant's qualifications are obtained and submitted to the TQS office. Upon receipt of all required documents, TQS cards are normally processed within 10 business days. It is up to the applicant to ensure all documents are received prior to the appropriate deadlines. Please refer to TQS Regulations 7.06, 7.07, 7.08 for more information. Please be aware that the TQS does not fax or email TQS cards. It is your responsibility to show your TQS card to your school district to affect your pay category. For information about TQS Categories, please visit the TQS Categories Requirements page. If you believe there may be an error in your category assignment, you have the option to request a Director's Review of your file. Send all documents to:
